Ajit Pawar Biography
Ajit Pawar known as “DADA” in Maharashtra’s Politics was born on 22 July 1959 in Deolali, Pravara Nagar. He is the son of Anantrao Pawar who is the younger brother of Sharadchandra Pawar, his father Anantrao, was initially working at filmmaker V.Shantaram’s “Rajkamal Studios” in Bombay.
He completed his education till 10th standard and later moved to the agriculture and farming sector. He put his efforts in the Milk Dairy, Goat Farming, and Poultry business. In 1982 he became active in politics and was elected as director of the cooperative sugar factory.
After that, he never looked back and became the Opposition Leader and Deputy Chief Minister, and held the charge of multiple prestigious positions. In July 2023 with the number of MLA and MP, he made a Rebellion against his uncle Sharadchandra Pawar and became President of Nationalist Congress Party.
The Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad belt is considered Ajit Pawar’s home ground, he has strong contacts with builders and businessmen in this area. Also, he’s only comfortable speaking in Marathi he avoids talking with media in any other languages.
