- 500 grams cauliflower (20 cauliflower florets)
- 1 cup oil
For Batter -:
- Half cup all purpose flour or plain flour
- half cup corn flour
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- salt as per taste
- water as required
- Oil, for deep frying
For Manchurian Sauce -:
- 4 tsp oil
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
- 1 green chilli
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup spring onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 capsicum, cubed
- 2 tsp soya sauce
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp chilli sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- salt as per taste
For cornflour solution -:
- 1 tsp corn flour
- water as required

- Step 1: Cut Cabbage
To make Gobi Manchurian Recipe, first of all cut the florets of cauliflower. Cut the whole cauliflower florets. Now take hot water in a vessel and put the cauliflower in it. Now add 3 spoons of salt in it and wash the cabbage in it. Throw away the water, and keep the gobi florets aside in a plate.
- Step 2: Fry the Gobi
Now add half cup flour and half cup cornflour, salt as per taste, 1 pinch of black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder in a bowl. Now add little water and make it a semi-thick batter. Add the chopped gobi florets into the batter and mix well.
Now heat 2 cups of oil in a pan and fry the cauliflower florets on medium flame. Fry for about 5 to 6 minutes until it becomes light golden in color. Take out all the cabbage in a plate and keep it aside.
- Step 3: Make the Sauce
Now put 2 spoons of oil in a pan, heat it well, now add half finely chopped coriander, 1 spoon of ground ginger, garlic paste, 2 finely chopped green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
Now add half finely chopped capsicum and 2 teaspoons chopped spring onion. Now add 2 spoons of dark soya sauce, 1 spoon of green chili sauce, 1 spoon of tomato ketchup, 1 spoon of red chili sauce and salt as per taste and mix everything. Now add 2 cups of hot water to it and heat the sauce until it boils.
After the sauce starts boiling, add corn flour puree to it. Make corn flour puree by adding 2 spoons of corn flour and 2 cups of water in a bowl. Now add it to the sauce and keep stirring until the sauce becomes slightly thick. Once the sauce thickens, Once done, add fried cauliflower to it.
Also add chopped coriander and a pinch of garam masala and mix everything. You do not have to cook them very much, once everything is mixed well, then turn off the gas.
